The 25th Japanese Speech Contest in Brunei Darussalam

It is that time of year when we celebrate the non-native Japanese Language speakers among us, at least those brave enough to actually stand in front of a crowd and give a speech in that foreign language that is beloved by some of us here, to varying degrees of fluency. It’ll be held at Institut Perkhidmatan Awam (IPA | Google Maps Link) on Saturday the 24th of September 2011 at 2pm. The closing date has already passed (Sorry Noi) last Sunday 10th July but if you’re interested to know more, below is the link to the relevant page at the Japanese Embassy in Brunei website:

ASCOJA Conference: Bangkok 25-28 November 2011

I’ve just received an email from Mr Wirudchawong of OJSAT Thailand regarding this. Official invitation / post is not up yet on their website but I feel we must plan for this as early as possible, which means informing members ASAP. BAJA will surely discuss more on this at our upcoming meeting at the end of June. See you guys’n’gals then. Cheers.

Shahbandar Conquered on Sun 5th June 2011

Thank you to all those members and non-members who turned up at our first non-meeting event this year. Thank you too to Andy and Adeline for the excruciatingly difficult (not) challenge activity. Pictures are in the ‘Bruneians In Japan’ Facebook page. Cheers.
