Just got an eMail from Mr Ichioka of the Japanese Embassy saying that there’ll be a screening of the Japanese movie ‘Quarter‘ this afternoon at 4PM at UBD, in conjunction with the Japanese Language & Culture Week held there starting today.

It is back again at UBD’s Chancellor Hall from Wednesday 28th March 2012 until Friday 30th March 2012. BAJA is sharing space with the Japanese Embassy this year and is looking for a few more volunteers from amongst its members to help ‘man’ the desk. * Place: Millenium Restaurant, Beribi (same building as SupaSave Beribi)
This AGM is suppose to be for the year 2011, but due to scheduling issues, it is held in January 2012 instead. Most important matter to discuss is the nomination and election of the new Executive Committee for years 2012/2013. Also, as in the previous AGM, the Japanese Ambassador has been invited to attend and he has noted that he’ll grace us with his presence.
