600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 2,000 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 3 years to get that many views.
Organised by the Japan Tourism Agency, they’re inviting non-Japanese Citizens to submit past and present pictures of Japan according to six themes: Cool!, Delicious!, Happy!, Beautiful!, Funny! and Miracle!. Submitters don’t have to currently be in Japan, but winners are asked to attend a prize giving ceremony to be held in Japan. The contest runs from 1st September 2012 until 15th February 2013.
